Under Section 57-39.4-01, this state adopted the Streamlined Sales and Use Tax Agreement as adopted November 12, 2002, by the member states of the Streamlined Sales Tax Project. Under Section 57-39.4-31, the Majority Leaders of the Senate and the House of Representatives each appoint one member of the Legislative Assembly to represent the state on the Streamlined Sales Tax Governing Board.
