Administrative Agency Rulemaking Notices

The Legislative Council compiles notices of proposed rulemaking which are filed by state administrative agencies. The notices provide:

1. A short explanation of the proposed rule.
2. A determination whether the proposed rule will have an impact in excess of $50,000 on the regulated community.
3. A description of at least one location where interested persons may review the text of the proposed rule.
4. An address to which comments concerning the proposed rule may be sent.
5. A phone number at which a copy of the rule and the regulatory analysis may be requested.
6. A time and place set for oral hearing on the proposed rule.

In order to subscribe to receive notices of proposed rulemaking, you must submit a request for a subscription to the administrative rulemaking notice service and include a check for the amount of $50, payable to the NORTH DAKOTA LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL. The request and check should be mailed to the Legislative Council, State Capitol, 600 East Boulevard, Bismarck, ND 58505-0360. The subscription is for one year, beginning on the first business day of the month after the check is received.
