2003 North Dakota House of Representatives
The House of Representatives consists of 94 representatives. Two representatives are elected from each of 47 senatorial districts. The representatives from even-numbered districts were elected to four-year terms at the November 2000 election. As a result of legislative redistricting, in 2002 there was an election for one representative in District 26 for a two-year term. The representatives from odd-numbered districts were elected to four-year terms at the November 2002 general election. There are 11 House standing committees, one joint committee, and 7 House procedural committees that closely parallel the Senate's with respect to name and subject matter jurisdiction.
