December 10 (Fri.)   Deadline for executive agencies and Supreme Court to file bills with the Legislative Council
January 5 (Tues.) 1st Session begins2
January 11 (Mon.) 5th No more than five bills may be introduced by each representative after this date
January 18 (Mon.) 10th Martin Luther King Day3. Deadline for representatives to introduce bills. No more than three bills may be introduced by each senator after this date.
January 25 (Mon.) 15th Deadline for senators to introduce bills
January 28 (Thurs.) 18th Deadline for introducing resolutions except amendments to the Constitution of North Dakota and study resolutions
February 4 (Thurs.) 23rd Deadline for rereferrals of bills in house of origin to Appropriations Committees
February 15 (Mon.) 30th President's Day3
February 16 (Tues.) 31st Bills and resolutions except constitutional amendments and study resolutions must be reported out of committee in house of origin. Deadline for introducing amendments to the Constitution of North Dakota and study resolutions.
February 18-23   Recess
February 25 (Thurs.) 34th Crossover date for bills4
March 2 (Tues.) 37th Study resolutions and proposed constitutional amendments must be reported out of committee
