  • A status report regarding the temporary assistance for needy families (TANF) caseloads and budget for the 1999-2001 biennium to date, including information on projected TANF carryover funds by federal fiscal year
  • A report on departmental plans for implementing the new TANF spending flexibility, including any program changes and reorganizing of priorities and service needs
  • A status report on the negotiations between representatives of the tribes and the Department of Human Services regarding a tribal TANF program
  • Information regarding the federal fiscal year 1994 TANF funding allocation by tribe and the state's related maintenance of effort
  • A report on the effect of a tribal TANF program on the department's "SWAP" agreement
  • A status report on unemployment in Indian country
  • A status report on the training, education, employment, and management (TEEM) pilot project in Rolette County and other potential demonstrations in other counties
  • Information regarding individual development accounts (IDAs)
  • Information regarding the family violence option as an exemption to the TANF work requirements and 60-month benefit limit
  • Information regarding any suggested statutory changes pertaining to the administration of the TANF program
