| A concurrent resolution to create and enact a new section to article X of the Constitution of |
| North Dakota, relating to dedication and distribution of a portion of sales, use, and motor |
| vehicle excise tax revenues to political subdivisions for state revenue sharing and personal |
| property tax replacement; and to provide an effective date. |
| STATEMENT OF INTENT |
| This amendment provides for revenue from six-tenths of one percentage point of the general |
| sales, use, and motor vehicle excise tax to be allocated to the state aid distribution fund |
| and that revenue in the state aid distribution fund must be allocated to political |
| subdivisions in equal amounts for state revenue sharing and personal property tax replacement. |
