A concurrent resolution for the amendment of section 6 of article VIII of the Constitution of

North Dakota, relating to the state board of higher education and the control and

|
administration of the state's educational institutions; and to provide an effective date.

STATEMENT OF INTENT
|
|
This amendment removes references to the state board of higher education and provides that the
|
|
legislative assembly shall provide for the control and administration of the state's
|
|
educational institutions. It further provides that these changes will take effect on January
|
|
1, 2001.
