| A concurrent resolution for the amendment of section 2 of article IV of the Constitution of |
| North Dakota, relating to the election of representatives; and to provide an effective date. |
| STATEMENT OF INTENT |
| This amendment provides that representatives must be elected from subdistricts of senatorial |
| districts. The amendment will be effective for any legislative redistricting plan enacted |
| after completion of the 2000 federal decennial census. |
